Company History
Fairmont Foods of Minnesota, founded in 1987, is a privately held manufacturer of
frozen prepared foods.
We are recognized as one of the most diversified co-packers of
frozen prepared foods in the industry. Our portfolio has included such names as Heinz,
Pillsbury, Marie Callender, Omaha Steaks, Redi-Serve, Zatarain’s, Schwan’s, Campbell Soup Co., Kroger, Jimmy Dean Foods, Fazoli’s and Luigino’s.
The production plant covers 175,000 square feet and is a USDA facility. It was the first plant in the upper
Midwest to function under a TQC format.
An in-house laboratory monitors all incoming
ingredients as well as all in-process products and finished goods.
We have a state-of-the-art Food Safety program with an exemplary record of
USDA FSIS Compliance.
In 1993, an additional 175,000 square feet of dry storage and
freezer space was purchased to handle the growth in production.
A computerized freezer was installed in 2000 to increase production
efficiency, capacity, and food safety.
